Green light with funding for Rehab Centre in Neapolis

When local people, who care deeply for their roots and their fellow citizens, get together and work together, everything is possible!

Proof of that comes to light today, with a written announcement from the Member of Parliament for Lasithi, Manolis Thrapsaniotis:

“In a decision made and signed by the Deputy Minister of Health, Mr. Pavlos Polakis, the project “Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation”, of the Neapolis Health Centre “Dialynakeio”, is to move forward.

With this decision, apart from other positive consequences, it will mean that the project will be decentralised, something which will speed up the completion process considerably.

The Government is keeping it’s promise to see this project become a reality, A project which is of such importance and is a dream that the people of the area, have had for many years, but is also of great significance for the whole of Crete. A project that will contribute decisively in the improvement and restoration of the health of those in need, and will help improve the local economy.”

**As part of this decision, as published by the Ministry, the amount of eight (8) million euros is being made available for the budget of the project, funding which will be absorbed from NSRF programmes from Europe.
