Quad bike accident in Tapes

The emergency services could only fear the worst when, at around 2pm today, a report came in that a quad bike carrying two people, had gone off the road and down a cliff, close to the village of Tapes, on the way to Lasithi Plateau.
Police, ambulance and specialist Fire Service Search & Rescue teams attended the scene and were able to reach the couple quickly. They are both now being treated in Agios Nikolaos General Hospital, where it is reported that their lives are not in danger as fortunately, they both only suffered minor injuries.
