With feelings of happiness and satisfaction from all those involved in the creation of the project, and with the presence of all official bodies and crowds of local people, the old people’s care home “The Megali Panagia” – “The Great Virgin Mary”, was officially opened on Saturday afternoon in Latsida, Neapolis.
After the blessing, which was carried out by the Archbishop of Crete, greetings were made by officials, the unveiling of the name plaque was carried out by the Director of the Region of Crete together with the Honorable Metropolitan of the Diocese of Petras and Hersonissou, the commemorative ribbon was cut and a tour of the modern and welcoming care home for all those invited, followed.
