Anna S. is the daughter of the owner of the shop which caught fire on Sunday morning, in Neapolis and who wrote her own personal message on facebook about the incident:
“As most of you already know, on Sunday morning, a fire broke out in my mother’s shop. On one hand, we are unlucky because a lot of stock has been destroyed, but on the other hand, we are lucky because there could have been much more damage. There were many who passed by before we called the fire brigade, who saw the smoke and just asked what was happening, before carrying on past as usual, something that made a very big and bad impression!
For that reason, it is very important for me to say a BIG THANK YOU to the people who called the fire services, the officers who took part in extinguishing the fire, but also the people who are helping now, to get the shop ready to re-open again!! The fact that no lives were put in danger or that the shop wasn’t completely ruined, does not mean that it wasn’t a very serious incident for us!
