In an effort to upgrade and further develop the primary health care facilities in the area of Mirabello, we would like to inform the residents of the employment of a permanent local doctor covering the villages of Sissi, Vrachasi and Milatos.
In addition, after 10 years, we will also be opening the rural doctors surgeries in Skinia, Louma and Selles. Over the next few days, we will add the villages of Vrisses, Zenia and Potamous and finally, it will be the turn of Houmeriako, Limnes, Kritsa and Krousta to meet their new local, rural doctors.
Upgrades have been made to internet and telephone connections to ensure speedy prescription writing and all the necessary medical, paramedical supplies and computer equipment will be delivered shortly.
These new surgeries are part of an initiative by the Director of the Dialynakio Hospital of Neapoli to ensure complete primary health care to residents of these villages, where the average age of the population is high and the ability of the patients to travel to others doctors and hospitals is difficult. The hospital will also be responsible for overseeing the operation and the services provided.
