The “traitor” is in place….(photos and video)

Today, Holy Wednesday the raft with the effigy of Judas, was placed in the lake of Agios Nikolaos, ready for the traditional ceremony, where it is set alight and burnt on Saturday night, after the Resurrection.

A team of Council staff set to work early, building the raft, and setting up the whole structure, the image of which puts everyone into the atmosphere of the days of Easter, highlighting what awaits the traitor who, for 30 pieces of silver, betrayed Jesus Christ.
