A meeting between the Minister for Tourism Ms. Elena Koundoura and Mr. George Pelekanakis is planned for this evening Friday, 25/11/2016.
Mr Pelekanakis has recently taken responsibility for the General Management of the M-Hotels group of hotels in Agios Nikolaos (Mirabello-Hermes-Coral) and his discussions will be focused on ways of developing and extending the tourist season in the whole of East Crete.
In particular, he will discuss the strengthening of infrastructure in East Crete starting from the airport of Heraklion itself, to the road network and as a request from Mr Andonis Zervos, the Mayor of Agios Nikolaos, the issue of the constant and good quality supply of water from the Aposelemi Dam to all points on the North coast of the region.
