Euro 2004 Football Champions in Neapolis for charity game

Big names from the 2004 Greek National football team will be in Neapolis in April, along with many other well known players who have shone, both in Greek and International teams, over the last few years.

The stars of the legendary EURO 2004 team will play in a charity match, which will help fund the medical costs of little George, who needs to go urgently to a hospital in France for further treatment.

The opposition will be a mix of players from the amateur teams of Neapolis and Vrachasi.

Players such as Karagounis, Kyriakos, Basinas, Katsouranis, Haniotakis and more, will compete against the players of the Mirabello teams, for this very good cause, in an effort to provide financial assistance to young George’s family.

The match will take place on Thursday 6th April at 16.00, at the Periklis Melidoniotis Stadium in Neapolis and will have a festive atmosphere.

Participating in the organisation, alongside the Neapolis Athletics Club, are:
Sissi Development, Milatos Cultural Association, Vrachasi Cultural Association, the Agricultural Cooperative of Vrachasi, AOB, the Parents and Guardians Association of the Junior Schools of Sissi, Women’s Association of Lasithi, PEA, Women’s Association of Malia, Cultural Association of Malia and others.
