Driros Cinema solidarity

Visitors to the Driros Cinema in Neapolis paid for their tickets on Tuesday evening, 27th December 2016 with a bag of long shelf-life groceries, cleaning materials or items of personal care. It didn’t take long before the entrance foyer was full of carrier bags with their donations.

The organisation, the Youth of Neapolis, who are always active and working for the needs of the local community, promoted the showing of films under the banner of “social cinema”, during the holiday period, to help in the collection of food and other basic essentials.
The items collected will go to families in most need, in the area.

The next showing for the same cause, will be on Tuesday 3rd January.

And a reminder that on Thursday, 28th December, Father Christmas (Agios Vassilis), will be at the Driros from 16.00 to share out gifts to all the children.
