The Cretan brand of bottled water, “Zaro’s” has been awarded the title of the best bottled water in the world, an international competition,held in U.S.
The natural mineral water, which comes from natural sources in the Psiloritis Mountain, won the Golden Prize for “Bottled Water”, during the 27th Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting Competition, which brought together more than 600 types of bottled water, from all over the world.
The Zaros water was tasted and evaluated by twelves judges, – known internationally as the “water connoisseurs” – who assessed all the participating samples of bottled water, over a two day period and based their decon the criteria of smell, appearance, taste and texture.
Second place went to Artesis Water, from the famous Crystal waterfalls of Michigan, with Svaboroi Polar, Iceberg Water from Norway (the so-called 100 euro water), coming in third place.
It is the second successive distinction for ZARO’S water, after it has won the “iTQi” Superior Taste Award by the iTOi institute in Brussels last year.
