The President of the Greek Hotel Managers Association, Mr. G. Pelekanakis, spoke to Thanos Korobilias on his Lato 103,3 radio programme PAME AERA on Thursday 22nd December.
Earlier, Mr Pelekanakis had taken part in a lengthy meeting in Athens, whose sole purpose was to discuss the area of education and training in the Tourism Industry.
During his interview on Thursday, he analysed the thinking behind the move for additional skills in training and the level of recognition of qualifications in this field. In this way, he said, the students who will study tourism will gain the correct training in order to meet the demands of the market as it stands today.
