Unacceptable, is how the President of the Traders Association of Agios Nikolaos, Mr. Odysseas Papadakis, described the complaint made to the police, on Sunday afternoon, with regard to the opening of shops in the town.
Speaking to Thanos Korobilias, on his radio programme, PAME AERA, on Lato 103,3, Mr. Papadakis said that the Traders Association had highlighted the need for the town not to be “dead”, on the day that the first cruise ship was expected.
He added that they will not permit the sabotage on the part of the Lasithi Regional office. They have still not authorised the summer shop opening programme, in order for it to be maintained by the local traders.
