Two young Cretan “Anti-bullying Ambassadors” receive “Diana Award”

Two young “Anti-Bullying Ambassadors”, 15 year old Aggeliki Zafeiri and 11 year old Diomidis Sumsiris from Rethymnon, were guests of honour in London on Thursday May 18, in a ceremony where they were the proud recipients of the “Diana Award”.
The prsentation of this special award, was made by Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and his brother, Prince Harry who have created the scheme, honouring the legacy of their mother, the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
The ceremony was held at St James’s Palace, where twenty exceptional young people from across the world were recognised for their qualities of kindness, compassion and service, the Greek Embassy in the UK said.

Aggeliki Zafeiri and Diomidis Sumsiris, students from an English language school in Rethymnon met with the Greek Ambassador in the UK, Mr. D.K.Tziras, at his office before the ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
