Man found dead after fall in street

The Emergency Services received a call this morning, Friday, to a location in Platania and in particular to the back of a shop called “The Mill of Keratas”, which referred to a man who appeared to have fallen into a tight, drainage type channel, in the street.


According to a report in zarpanews.gr, a middle aged man was recovered dead, from the two metre deep position where he had been found, and it is believed that he was a Finnish citizen.

He was taken by ambulance to hospital, where an autopsy will be carried out, along with a police investigation, to determine the precise cause of his death.
