Having spoken to Mrs. Maria Halkiadaki, of the Cultural Society of Kavousi, we have been informed that a section of the presentation scheduled for this coming Monday 15th May, on the preservation of the rare and endangered Ambelitsa tree, will be given in English.
There are many non-Greek speakers who would enjoy the event and for this reason, it has been arranged for a local Swiss lady who is well versed on the subject, to stand up and to speak in English.
Due to the unusually hot temperatures that we are having at the moment, the organisers have also decided to change the venue for the event, from the Junior School, to the meeting room attached to the Panagia Mesohoriani church in the village and the start time will now be 8pm to allow for those that cannot be present earlier.
