The burglars were hungry…..

The burglars that targeted a complex of homes just outside of Heraklion in the last few days, were probably hungry – there is no other explanation.
Apart from the money, computers, clothes , shoes and jewellery that they took with them as they left, they also took tupperware dishes with food, with the menu including traditional delicacies, such as snails with risotto and which they consumed with the appropriate respect!!!
And if the risotto with snails wasn’t enough, they also took some cheese pies that one of their victims had in her bag, whilst she was out looking for wild greens nearby. The burglar’s escape route, was most likely across the same field, and when their eye fell on the bag with the pies……they couldn’t resist the temptation to snatch them too!!
