After the council laid new, fresh tarmac at the roundabout on the outskirts of town at the junction of Karamanli and Kritsa roads, locals cannot believe that the roadworks have lasted no longer than a few days!
Botchery from previous attempts to resurface the road have now caused the development of more potholes, again endangering drivers of car and bikes in the area.
The irony of these pictures of course is the fact that everyone is queueing to pay for their (in some cases higher than last year) road tax 2017, but for roads that are in such a poor state.
The council will have to look at the problem again and we hope for a speedy and conclusive solution, in order to prevent further inconvenience to road users.
