Greece is 1st choice for Easter holidays for French and Dutch.

First choice for Easter Holiday for the French and the Dutch, is Greece, it appears, from booking figures that the large tour operator TUI, has announced.

For the French tourists, Morocco and Spain are also high on their list of top choices and for the Dutch, Turkey is still strong for this period, but in either case, the TUI customers have their eye on warm, sunny climbs and especially on Spain.

In fact, in all of Europe, Spain is in the top position as a holiday destination for TUI clients, the company stated, a company that organises holidays to over 100 different parts of the world, for a total of 20 million passengers.

Trends show that the French and Belgians prefer mainland Spain, the British, Swiss and Austrians prefer Mayorca and the Scandinavians choose Gran Canaria.

In terms of second choices, Germans are travelling to U.S.A. at Easter, whilst Austrians favour Egypt or the Maldives, the Swiss prefer Mauritius and the Dominican Republic and finally, the Scandinavians book and travel to Thailand and Cyprus, for the early year break.

Up and coming destinations for TUI tourist are proving to be Cape Verde and the Caribbean islands, with Egypt holding it’s ground.
