It was at 70 minutes, during the Lasithi Cup Final, on Sunday, which was being played at the National Stadium, Agios Nikolaos, when an uninvited gatecrasher ran onto the pitch, wanting to take part in the game along with the 22 official players!
The referee blew the whistle and the game came to a stop twice, whilst the players of both teams, from Korfos Elounda and OFI Ierapetra, tried very hard to catch him but without much success – as you will see in the video below.
In the end, Gogolaouris from the Elounda team proved the better man and finally caught him, handing him back to the spectators in the stands and receiving a round of applause from everyone in the ground, for his efforts!
