With the aim of providing easy access to the internet, as well as the promotion of web applications that will bring an overall improvement to the quality of services provided for everyone in the wider area of the Municipality of Agios Nikolaos, starting from next week, free internet access will be available at key points around the area, accessible to both residents and visitors.
The free access points will start from in the town centre and will very quickly be extended to key tourists points and places of social interest.
The maps below show in details where these points will be and the area they will cover.
As the Mayor of Agios Nikolaos explained, the aim is obviously to provide free services to the citizens of the area, with easy access to the internet, as would be expected in a modern society and in the era of high technology that we live, but at the same time, the other aim is to bring our squares, ports and central meeting points, back to live. So that they will become welcoming and hospitable to the youth of the area and of course, for our many foreign and Greek visitors.
Later this year, the network will be extended even further.
