Electronic tickets for Knossos this year

During a press conference held on Wednesday (1/3/17), the Minister for Culture made the announcement that from this year – probably May – three archeological sites, The Acropolis, The Mycenae and Knossos will be operative with an electronic, entrance tickets system.

Greece is finally joining the electronic era that we live in, but so importantly, this is a move which will see an end to the enormous queues, which are so often created at peak times of the day and of the year. It is definitely something that our foreign visitors will very much appreciate and enjoy!
