Concerts by the Music Arts School

The students of the Music Arts School, Agios Nikolaos, will put on two concerts this weekend. The concerts will be on Friday 16th December at 19.30 and on Saturday 17th December,  at 18.00. Entrance will be free of charge and both concerts will be held in the Multi Purpose Hall at the Music School on Epimenidou, 19. (The “Italian Road”).

The programme will not be exclusively Christmasy, but the atmosphere will be highly festive.
Friday’s concert will see the “Junior kids” and the pre-school children playing and on Saturday, we will see the children from the lower, middle and upper classical groups play. Taking part, will also be the Choir of the same School.

In January, we will have the opportunity to see the work of the pupils who are studying traditional, folk, rock,  jazz and modern music, who are working hard already on their very strong programme for the New Year.

In all of these concerts, which are considered an important part of the teaching and learning process, the students will be able to judge their own progress and see the rewards from the hours of studying and practice, under the supervision of the dedicated team of teaching staff.

Performing in front of an audience helps teach the children how to deal with their stress, to support the project as a member of a team, gain self respect for their efforts and learn patience and cooperation with their fellow musicians.
The final performance, on the night of the concert, the magic of the event in addition to all the built up energy and passion of rehearsals, will see 100% put into the music.
And so, the mission is complete.
The Music Arts School opens it’s doors and gives it’s stage to pupils to experience music at many levels and it would give them enormous pleasure if you could attend the event, but especially, even greater pleasure for the children.
