The local Company Bioaroma, in cooperation with the non-profit making organisation, “Greek Collection Maria Callas”, will make a world exclusive presentation, of their new product “Maria Callas Perfume”, at the Meydan Hotel, during Arab Fashion Week 2017, which will take place in Dubai from 16th – 20th May.
Bioaroma has the sole responsibility for the production of the perfume and has created a quartet of aromas, with rare elements of Greek nature, in honour of the legendary Greek fashion icon and opera singer. The project is part of an effort to financially strengthen the funding for the creation, by the “Greek Collection Maria Callas” of a museum, in her name.
The composition of the perfume is a combination of high, medium and low notes of aromatherapy.
The high notes are sharp and give a clean fresh aroma to the mix, which are as dramatic as her voice. The middle notes make up the heart of the aroma, are warm and give maturity to the blend, as touching as her interpretations were. The low notes are deep and accomplish the lasting effect made by the union, synonymous with her historic life and career.
The design of the bottle, is the epitome of modern art and is inspired by the crystal clear voice of the singer and her aristocratic figure, combining elements of ancient Greek culture and Greek music. The local sculpture Pantelis Sotiriadis, oversaw the design process, as his hands are well known for being capable of bringing to life, materials such as stainless steel, copper, glass, iron and stone.
Bioarome is also working hand in hand with the up and coming designer, Maria Tangalou, who was given the responsibility for the design, but also for the creation of a haute couture gown, dedicated to Maria Callas, with the aim of creating an overview and thus showcasing her feminine temperament in a range of beauty accessories.
After the exclusive world launch, in Dubai during the Arab Fashion Week in May, the perfume will be available for purchase from official points of sale that the “Greek Association Maria Callas”, will determine.
