Toilet paper for……smartphones!

Japan is well known for taking the issue of personal hygiene and cleanliness very seriously.
And as such, the installation of a new kind of toilet paper at the International Airport of Narita, in Tokyo, shouldn’t come as such a surprise!

Research has shown that the screens of our smartphones have even more germs than a toilet seat, so the airport now offers an additional roll of paper next to the usual paper for the toilet.

The small roll which says “Welcome to Japan”, is written in English and gives instructions to the user, on how to clean their smartphone screen!

This idea is an initiative of the Company NTT Docomo and in this first phase, will operate until March 2017.
