No deportation for 3 Turkish officers

Three of the Turkish Air Force officers who fled to Greece by helicopter on the night of 15th July 206, during the attempted coup in their country, will not be deported back to Turkey, it was decided today. Their case went to appeal after their application for asylum had been refused.
The Judicial Council of the Court of Appeal decided that if they were to be sent back to Turkey, their lives would be in danger and as such, should not be deported.
A hearing is to be held tomorrow in regards to the case of the remaining 8 officers who fled with them.
