New strike by Greek Naval Federation

A new 48 hour strike, back to back with the previous one has been decided by the Greek Naval Federation.
Commencing at 06.00 on Sunday and continuing until 06.00 on Tuesday, comes in a move to strengthen their negotiations with the Government in response to proposed plans to measures, which would see much higher rates of taxation for all naval workers.
On Monday 11th December representatives of all 13 union bodies will meet to demonstrate outside the Ministry for Naval Affairs and it is planned that a representation of the unions will meet with the Minister.
