Deadline for Car Tax 2017

The deadline of 31st December 2016, for the issue of car tax will not be extended.

The Ministry of Finance stated that despite the fact that the application on their website opened later than usual this year, they do not foresee the need for an extension. As such, anyone who fails to pay for their new car tax for 2017, will be faced with the corresponding fine.

The amount of the fine is the equivalent of the unpaid tax, in other words, a double tax.
