Disturbance with drunken tourists on quad bikes

Disturbance was caused in the town centre of Agios Nikolaos yesterday evening, by drunken tourists driving quad bikes.
The foreign visitors had consumed large amounts of alcohol and were driving in a dangerous manner around the streets, at speed and the wrong way along one-way streets.
The police chased them and stopped them on Giamboudakis Street.
Two were arrested and help in police cells in Agios Nikolaos for charges to be processed.
Other witnesses referred to hearing shots being fired, but the police have not confirmed this detail.
