The Greek Police, via their Twitter account, have announced the new, seasonal “Common Quiet Hours”.
In particular, the announcement advises the public that as of 1st April, common quiet hours change and based on the law, will be as follows:
Summer period 15:00 until 17:30 and 23:00 until 07:00
Winter period 15:30 until 17:30 and 22:00 until 07:30
The summer period is considered to be from 1st April until 30th September, whilst the winter period includes the dates between 1st October and 31st March, each year.
Offenders of this particular law, should be reported to the Police, in order for them to confirm the offence and the complainant, if they choose, can make a report in writing.
