Greek Post Office now selling electricity

The Greek energy supply market is now opening up even more.

As of Monday 24th April 2017, it is now possible to buy your electricity supply from the Greek Post Office (ELTA).

The charge for domestic electricity supplies, (up to 2,000 kwh in a four month period), will be 0.0860 euros per kwh. For households that use higher amounts, the charge will be 0.0840 euros per kwh, which will be the lowest price in the marketplace, at the moment and is equal to 18% less than the current DEH pricelist.

According to ELTA, the price will be even lower when the customer is on time with making the payment for his electricity bill. In this case, the difference will be the equivalent of a 10% gain against DEH, with a basic rate of 0,0774 per kwh or 0.0756 per kwh when consumption is over 2,000 kwh per period.

There is of course another pricelist available to professional and industrial users.

Full details are available at local Post Offices.
