The Russian Tour Operator Coral Travel’s “Starway World’s Best Hotels” are awarded to the 100 best hotels, as voted by Russian tourists themselves.
The award ceremony took place in Moscow on March 14th during the MITT tourist exhibition.
In total 127.230 tourists participated in the survey and they evaluated 6.078 hotels in 90 destinations in 36 countries. The tourists evaluated the quality of the staff, the rooms, the food, the cleanness, provisions for children, the gardens, the swimming pools as well as the facilities for sports and entertainment in the hotels.
The four Greek (Cretan) hotels are:
GRECOTEL CLUB MARINE PALACE (39th)
IBEROSTAR CRETA PANORAMA (45th)
MITSIS LAGUNA RESORT & SPA (59th)
ERITA BEACH – ex. MITSIS SERITA BEACH (82nd)
Three Cypriot hotels were also given awards:
CAVO MARIS (16th)
CRYSTAL SPRINGS BEACH HOTEL (29th)
SVELTOS HOTEL (90th)
