A major investor from the United Arab Emirates is expected soon in Crete, to move forward on the purchase of a luxury property complex in the Milatos-Sissi area. The multi-million euro project is being constructed by a Canadian developer, who has been investing in Crete for several years now, in the field of real estate.
Sources say that the same businessman, also has big plans in the area of Rogdia, where he has already started buying up property.
According to the legal representative of the Canadian developer, Mr. Kostas Papamastorakis, the Arabian investor is due in Crete within the next ten days, in order to visit the construction site and begin discussions for the agreement of a business deal.
At the same time, Mr. Papamastorakis revealed that there is also serious interest from other overseas investors, mostly American and Dutch, with whom he is already in contact.
Despite the labyrinth of red tape, these investors stand firm in their business plans, with the strong “brand name” of Crete, recognising it’s multifaceted dynamics.
